Terrible schedule. It should be every other day instead of the random 2 days off. Schedule should be Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
That’s what a finals schedule should look like.
Yes, god forbid the league takes its’ TV partners’ interests into account.
CBC does Sat nites you bozo…ever heard of Hockey Nite in Canada
Oh Kevin, I think I’ll miss you least of all.
It’s a good enough schedule IMO. Seems CBC and NBC both get some of what they want. Monday/Wednesday/Saturday was always my favourite format when they used it in the ABC years.
Just one question, how do they know where they games will be played when the higher seed could still be Phoenix (if they play New Jersey)? I know it’s unlikely, but still. Has the format for choosing home ice advantage changed?
I believe I read that they go by total points accumulated in the regular season and not seeding. This would make sense since New Jersey also had more points than Phoenix this year.
Makes sense. Thanks.
