Based on this, I would say March 4th (My birthday) would be HDIA! When will they release the NBC/Versus schedule??

Also Winter Classic is listed as 1pm.

  2. Josh says:

Doubt they’re picking Col/Min on March 4th, because that would mean starting the game in the AM Minnesota time.

  3. jkrdevil says:

Super Bowl Sunday is February 5th and NBC has that game. Last time they had the Super Bowl I believe that week was skipped for hockey.

A perfectly reasonable argument, to which I respond with a perfectly reasonable argument: Washington always has the SB home date, but why would both WSH and NY waste marquee home dates and rivalries on Super Bowl Sunday otherwise?

  4. kevin says:

Boston will be on ALOT!!! Any team that drove the Final rating to a record deserves it.

  5. Kevin says:

During the new deal, did theyy say how many games NBC would be doing?? Or anything about possibly doing regional/nationals doubleheaders? I know they said 90 Versus games (All of which are supposed to be exclusive right??) and over 100 games which would mean at least 10 NBC games.

  6. Kevin says:

Also maybe Versus will do some more doubleheaders? Look at Monday November 7th. 2 games that night, Isles/Bruins @ 7 (VS Exclusive) and they can use the CSN feed for Kings @ Sharks @ 10:30. Plenty of examples of similar situations that would be great for this.

Also looks like HDIC will be on Feb. 11th but they don’t have Winnipeg with a game that day. So it looks like they won’t be involved..

  7. Also, Saturday January 12 CHI-DET is at 12:30pm ET. I can’t see why it would be a 12:30pm game unless it is on NBC. it makes sense because there are NFL games that Sunday (but none on NBC unless the lockout pushes everything back a week).

  8. Also, Saturday January 14 CHI-DET is at 12:30pm ET. I can’t see why it would be a 12:30pm game unless it is on NBC. it makes sense because there are NFL games that Sunday (but none on NBC unless the lockout pushes everything back a week).

  9. Joe M says:

Will NBC actually be carrying 12 regular season games now with the addition of Thanksgiving and the double header for hockey day in America?
