Puck the Media Christmas, Or the NHL’s 2011-12 National TV Schedule, Will Be This Thursday

As confirmed to Puck the Media by an NHL spokesman, the league and it’s television partners will release their slate of games – including Hockey Night in Canada, TSN, and over 100 games from the NBC Sports Group – this Thursday at 2 p.m. ET. Join me for coverage, tons of opinion, and the answers to questions such as: What is up with the Winter Classic? What about the Jets? What will VERSUS/NBCSN’s new hockey night to complement it’s Monday/Tuesday slate be? Will it still be Monday/Tuesday?

All this and more in about 46 hours.

I can’t wait to see a lack of Canucks games! (Not complaining, NHL GameCenter subscriber here and if it’s not on TV then WOOHOO!)

  2. Trent says:

I have a good feeling about Versus and Wednesday nights.

  3. Brendan says:

Can’t wait. Hopefully they give Nashville a couple of games.

  4. kevin says:

They should have one major matchup (Phil/Bos.. Chi/Det etc) and a lesser matchup (Nash/Buff…Minn/Dal.. etc) once a week. Then they will have good ratings and the get-a-lifers won’t be complaining that they don’t show Florida or Columbus enuf……..and NO they do not have to show Winnipeg or Ottawa or any other terrible Canadian team since this is an Amercan broadcast!!
