CBC’S HOCKEY NIGHT IN CANADA has introduced a new way for hockey fans to follow every player, every goal and every game with the all-new CBC’S HOCKEY NIGHT IN CANADA Application for iPhone and iPod Touch. The free app, launched this week, provides users with instant access to live box scores, statistics and results from all NHL games whenever and wherever they are.

 

Game statistics are broken down for every team, player and game. Division and conference standings are instantly updated, as are NHL player highlights. Users can find out who is leading the NHL in points, goals, plus/minus, goals against average, save percentage and wins.

 

The new iPhone and iPod Touch app features breaking news headlines, comprehensive stories and in-depth features from CBCSports.ca, and users can navigate the complete NHL schedule including CBC’S HOCKEY NIGHT IN CANADA broadcasts.

 

The free app can be downloaded by visiting cbc.ca/mobile/iphone, CBCSports.ca/hockey or by visiting the Free Application section of the iTunes store.
