Jack Capuano to Guest Star on Season Premiere of No Offense with Charlie Moore on NBCSN, In What Has to Be the Greatest Cross-Promotion Ever

UNIONDALE, NY (January 3, 2012) — NBC Sports Network will debut season two of the original series, Charlie Moore: No Offense, with special guest Jack Capuano, Head Coach of the NHL’s New York Islanders, on January 5, at 9:00 p.m. ET. The lifestyle/reality show is hosted by the Emmy Award-winning sports fanatic and avid angler, Charlie Moore, as he leaves his home waters and goes on numerous adventures taking viewers on a rip-roaring ride through the water.

This episode of No Offense features the Boston native as he travels to Long Island and Maine with the Islanders bench boss to experience hockey, fishing and dining the Capuano way. Capuano, a Cranston, RI native, takes Moore on adventures through some of his favorite summer-fishing lakes in Maine with stops including Pleasant Lake in Stetson, ME & Silverlake in Bucksport, ME. Moore even hits the ice in the middle of the Islanders summer Prospect Camp with members of the coaching and scouting staffs.

In each episode of No Offense, Charlie allows a special guest, celebrity or non-celebrity, to come into his world and, in return, Charlie will go into their world. As a lifestyle show for outdoor enthusiasts, Charlie totally immerses himself in the local flavors from various cities and towns across America. Last season featured celebrity guests from sports and entertainment, including Boston Red Sox Captain Jason Varitek, Boston Bruins goalie Tim Thomas, former New England Patriots offensive lineman Todd Rucci and NHL Hall of Famer Ray Bourque. Rickey Medlocke, guitarist for rock group Lynyrd Skynyrd, and DMC, of legendary rap group Run DMC, who performs the show open, also made guest appearances.

Founded in 1972, and this season celebrating their 40-year anniversary, the New York Islanders Hockey Club stands proudly as Long Island’s sole major league professional sports franchise.
