Eddie Olczyk to Call VERSUS’ Inaugural College Hockey Broadcast

VERSUS is using it’s top NHL analyst for their debut covering the college game.
Eddie Olczyk will be the color analyst for VERSUS’ broadcast of Boston University-Notre Dame on Saturday night, the first college game in the network’s history. He’ll work with play-by-play man Steve Schlanger. Olczyk has two sons currently playing college hockey.
VERSUS is airing a package of NCAA games this year, largely on Friday nights, from every conference, including the semi-finals and final of the Hockey East tournament.

4 out of 5 conferences… they conveniently forgot to schedule any games from the conference that has both hockey playing service academies (Army & Air Force), a BCS school (UConn), and a team that went to the Frozen Four two years ago (RIT).
