I wish I had $ 5.00 for every time Joe Benihaha said “…blah blah blah exclusively on Verses”. Exclusively, yes Joe we get it….

  2. Leafsfan1967 says:

Kevin :I wish I had $5.00 for every time I didn’t watch a game on Versus because Joe Benanati was calling the game.

Well said. I have NO idea why Versus hires him when there are many many better play by play guys they could be using.

  3. Stu Dolgon says:

Versus hires him because Versus is owned by Comcast. He is already on the Comcast payroll because he calls Capitals games on Comcast SportsNet in DC.

  4. jj says:

ESPN is so much better with Gary Thorne and Bill Clement. NHL needs to go the ESPN family of networks so idiots like Benanati arent calling games

  5. Cory says:

    cough DAVE STRADER cough

  6. leafsfan1967 says:

    Cory :cough DAVE STRADER cough

Indeed and there are many other examples. There is no reason why they insist on using Benihaha unless he comes cheap….
