Kings Playoff Ratings Notes

From Jim Carlisle of the Ventura County Star:

The Los Angeles Kings are all locked up 2-2 in their NHL playoff series with Vancouver and their exciting series is bringing in viewers to FSN West.

Game 4 Wednesday, a 5-4 Canucks win, earned a 2.31 rating on the network, the most for any of the games so far, which gave the series a 1.75 average.

The playoffs have been huge for FSN West. The 1.75 average is 380.4 percent over the regular-season average rating of 0.46 and that average was the highest for the network since the 1999-2000 season.

Each rating point equals 1 percent of the 5,654,000 Los Angeles market households with TV, or 56,540 households.

FSN West has shown every Kings game this season in high definition for the first time and every playoff game is followed by “Kings Live” postgame shows.
