Hawks and Caps DVDs Coming Soon

NEW YORK – Warner Home Video (WHV) and the National Hockey League (NHL) will release two DVD collector’s sets showcasing the rich traditions and proud pasts of two of the League’s top franchises. The Chicago Blackhawks® Great Moments and Classic Games six-disc collector’s set and the Washington Capitals® 10 Greatest Games 10-disc collector’s edition will hit stores on Tuesday, March 23.

Chicago Blackhawks Great Moments and Classic Games 6-DVD collection features many of the outstanding players and all-time great games in the Blackhawks’ 84-year history. The collection includes game and career highlights from fan favorites Bobby Hull, Stan Mikita, Denis Savard, Jeremy Roenick, Tony Amonte, Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews.

The Blackhawks 6-Disc collection includes:

1961 Stanley Cup® Championship – Final 14 minutes of the third period in Game 6

1991 NHL® All-Star Game starting lineups and anthems – 1/19/91

Tony Amonte – Game 3 Conference Quarter-Final vs. Toronto 4/23/94

Denis Savard – Game 4 Conference Final vs. Detroit Red Wings – 6/8/95

Final period of last game at Chicago Stadium and closing ceremony – 4/14/94

Washington Capitals 10 Greatest Games collector’s edition is a 10-disc set featuring 10 of the all-time best games in Capitals history. The collection features many of Washington’s great victories and heroic individual performances in their entirety, including Peter Bondra, Olaf Kolzig, Dale Hunter, and Alex Ovechkin in some of their proudest Capitals moments.
