I’m watching the game on Centre Ice, Versus has a new ticker. Not too bad. I don’t see the need to change it every 6 months though.
Ah yes, the always malleable Versus score bug. Thank goodness it’s finally smaller. That was really annoying. Now if only they can fix that voice we’re hearing coming from the speakers.
“For the 10th time, we’re glad you tuned in to the NHL on Versus!” How many times do we need to hear that?
The only problem for me is that the text/clock for Power Plays is too small. As is the listing of the lines on the ice at the beginning. Otherwise, much better looking than in the past. NBC still sets the gold standard as far as the graphics package goes.
Joe Beninati can get really annoying.
