Thanks For the Link, But…

Yesterday, the site had one of it’s best days ever in terms of hits  That was largely thanks to a link from Tarik El-Bashir’s fantastic Capitals Insider blog.  However, we searched up and down the post and could not find my beloved website’s name.  That is, until I decided to check out each individual links, until at the last link, I found my post, listed as from “The Puck Stops Here”.

Wait, what?

Anyway, thanks to Lindsay Applebaum, the writer of the post, for linking to us anyway.  It helped quite a bit.

How Will VERSUS Handle Premiere 2010?

After two consecutive years of covering one of two days of the NHL’s forays into Europe, the league has extended it to Oct. 7 – 10 with three series of two games each.  How do you think VERSUS will handle it?

I, for one would like to see them air at least the games on the 8th and 9th, ensuring that all three series get at least one game.  If they aren’t sending crews out to the games themselves, why not do all three days?

What do you suppose VERSUS will do?

VERSUS Adds New Playoff-Themed Hockey Show and Devils/Sharks Game

According to’s Hockey Central Week in Review (check the bottom line and the top scroll), VERSUS will start a new series titled “Honda Drive to the Playoffs” on Tuesday, March 2nd at 7PM, prior to it’s coverage of the Tampa Bay Lightning-Philadelphia Flyers game.

After said game, VERSUS will then televise the New Jersey Devils/San Jose Sharks game at 10:30 PM that night.  As you may remember, that game was one of the ones I suggested VERSUS add to their late-season schedule.  Clearly, I’m a visionary.  I’ll look into the lotto numbers for you.  Anyway, I’m looking on getting some more info for you all, so stay tuned.
