This is different from the usual 12:30 PM ET slot, we’ll see how much more often NBC does this.

hope they go with b’s v. habs so that i can get a double-header of puck on that day. Prolly won’t though
I don’t know why they continue to pretend that they’d ever show a Canadian team. And I really can’t wait to see the numbers from Pacific time zone markets for a game starting at 9 am.
NBC aired a Habs game 2 years ago on Super Bowl Sunday.
Here’s where you know without a doubt that NBC is showing the Penguins/Capitals (besides Crosby vs Ovechkin), there’s only 2 games that day, and the Boston/Montreal game is a 3pm ET start. Pens/Caps is listed as TBA. Plus NBC hates Canadian teams. And also, on top of that, Hockey Night in Canada is showing it, so there’s no way they’re changing the already-made full day’s schedule.
