And I thought I was going to go with CBC coverage, at least until I realized there would be local pre and post-games shows on WDIV here in Detroit… I think I’ll go for the comedy option of recording both broadcasts and watching the NBC coverage first, and watching the CBC broadcast later. Except for the two Versus games where I’ll just go with CBC.
NBC really needs a better team of broadcasters. Mike Emrick is ok, but, Ed Olyzck is not that good. I also think they need a better team in the studio. They need someone as a host like Bill Patrick on Versus. I would like to see NBC pick up Denis Potvin as it’s lead analyst, and have Bill Patrick, Pierre Mcguire and Mark Messier on it’s studio show. It would make for a much better telecast.

I don't think so. The Versus guys should be getting less coverage…not more…
Ed Olczyk is pretty decent.
