Wow, that “Last Templar” two-part movie on NBC concluding on Sunday night seems pretty serious.
In other words, I could see them forcing like an 18 hour turnaround and starting Game 2 at 6 p.m. ET. I suppose in some circles that could be considered “night,” as the NHL schedule says right now.
Well, the show that’s on Sunday is a repeat, so I don’t think it’s a huge priority for NBC. Still, this sounds like a reasonable possibility.
Interesting – from the way they advertise it on the website, it seems like it’s new. Big deal, then. Show the new Dateline at 7, and then the game at 8. What the hell’s the hold-up?
I think the NHL might be waiting to see if there is a Lakers/Nuggets Game 7 that night. Might be earlier in the night if they are competing.
SMU hit on the head. They are probably waiting to see the Lakers/Nuggets result, if it goes 7 or not. I think Game 7 of that series is scheduled for 9. So if it goes 7 Game 2 will start at 7, Nuggets/Lakers doesn’t it will be 8.
