  1. Chris says:

Gord Miller and Pierre McGuire are calling it for TSN.

  2. Trizent says:

Gord, Pierre, and reporter Ryan Rishaug for TSN for all Conference games.

    • Leafsfan1967 says:

      >>Gord and Pierre for TSN

Chris and Ray would be better but to any Canadian who might complain, it could be MUCH worse your could have Joe Benihaha too…

      Pow Bam SCOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  3. nosferatu says:

Am I imagining things, or has Versus already altered the new scoreboard at the top of their screen??

  4. Leafsfan1967 says:

    >>Also, this Beninati guy is kinda a little annoying.

No Say it Ain’t So Joe!!!

  5. Chris B says:

If you’re in the US, I suggest you find a web stream to watch the TSN broadcast. I’m fortunate enough to live within Pittsburgh and am able to pick up Foster Hewitt award winner Mike Lange on the radio. (That’s an award Benihana will never come anywhere near.) I’ve got a SportSync radio that lets you sync up the radio signal with on the TV. It works even with HD! Best 40 bucks I’ve ever spent. I picked it up during last year’s Eastern Conference Final so I wouldn’t have to hear Benihana.

I’d post a link to a stream with the TSN feed but I’m not sure if you’re allowed to do that here.

  6. Scotty says:

Alright I am glad I am not the only one who noticed the new scoreboard. In SD it looks good but the time is a little tough to read. I think good ole joe can stop saying the word Versus. Christ no wondwe they let him work when he’s clearly worse then everyone else cuz he says Versus every minute it seems.

    • Chris B says:

I wonder if he’s the same with during the Caps games with CSN?

“That’s coming up next on CSN Mid Atlantic!”

“Capitals up 3-2 here on CSN Mid Atlantic!”

“What a check on CSN Mid Atlantic!”

  7. Leafsfan1967 says:

Someone suggested that the reason why Verus uses Joe Benihaha is because he comes cheap. Well maybe his basic sallary is cheap but every time he says the words

Blah Blah Blah on Versus he gets an extra hundred bucks….

  8. Mike says:

It’s not just Versus that Beninati says that 10 million times for, when he calls the games for the Capitals he says the same thing over and over again about Comcast Sports Net. (Oh how I cringe when Gamecenter used the Capitals feed this season) How many times can he say “you’re watching the NHL on insert network here in crystal clear HD” and “we want to thank the men and women of our crew for their hard work behind the scenes”. I know what channel and what sport I’m watching Joe! If only they’d wise up and use Dave Strader for the play by play…

  9. Scotty says:

I think I have a new drinking game, everytime he says Versus you take a drink. Could you imagine how tanked you’d get? I just feel bad for the Caps fans who get him every game.

    • Scott says:

Combine that with the Staal Bros. Drinking Game and you won’t even make it out of the first ten minutes.

  10. Leafsfan1967 says:

    >>I just feel bad for the Caps fans who get him every game.

I’m hoping for a 4 Game Pens sweep so Joe will be put on Ice for the rest of the season….
