Is Versus picking up the CBC of the late game or do they have their own crew in Vancouver?

  2. Leafsfan1967 says:

That’s too bad, but it is understandable and it is still better than having to endure my least fav. play by play guy ruinning a game…. 🙂

  3. JG says:

Strader would have been fine. Caps-Pens to OT is there a plan if this runs over into next game (NHLN/ Center ice channel) ?

  4. Leafsfan1967 says:

Strader/Eliot would have been fine too.

One advantage of Washington still playing is their “melted down”, “bamming” play by play guy isn’t inflicted on a national audience… 🙂

I noticed last game that Benihana was stealing Emrick-isms… I heard a couple of “spirits it ahead”… and that the game was getting some “snarl”……….

      Fail……..

  5. Leafsfan1967 says:

It’s bad enough when Benihana ruins games by his own goofiness, it’s made worse when he imitates others… I just don’t see why Versus thinks Benihaha is so wonderful…

It’s ok I’ll leave it alone…for tonight anyway. I’m sure Benihaha will be back to ruin many more games before the final so we will have lots of opportunity to give him a hard time…

    • BluesFan44 says:

I can tell you why they think Benihana is so wonderful…

      He’s “Budget Friendly” 😉

  6. JG says:

I forget what team (LA or Phoenix) it was for, but Strader and Darren Pang did a nice job together on those broadcasts.

  7. JG says:

Dont have to worry about spillover, thanks to the Caps sorry no account D. At least St Cindy of the Confluence didnt score winning goal.

The tiny perfect commish isn’t going to let this happen either. We can’t can’t can’t put teams in Canada it’s not the future of the game now is it??!! 🙂 …or so the NHL brains trust thinks….
