Those of us who aren’t too happy with Versus aren’t the only ones. The following article on how the peope of Chicago feel about the TV situation is worth reading….

What a shock someone from the MSM trashing VS, and trying to force the NHL to go back to the WWL (alleged).

  2. Brian says:

Now VS is showing the waste of space hockey central while we are waiting for OT in the Caps/Pens game. What’s going on in Boston VS????? Take us to that game, you can tell us why Wash. didn’t re-sign Huet later. Jeez VS sucks

Hey all I was unable to watch the games tonight but I was wondering what Versus did with the joining in progress with Washington and Pittsburgh going ot and Boston and Carolina, did they do bonus coverage during the overtime intermission report or not. Someone I talked to didn’t know but said they almost missed Carolina’s winner. Just curious to see how bad they messed up at VS.

@Scotty: VERSUS showed what they could of the 3rd of BOS-CAR during the 3rd Intermission of PIT-WSH, and conveniently, once the OT in Pittsburgh ended, VERSUS was able to join BOS-CAR at the start of OT, showing everything – including Jokinen’s goal.

  4. BC says:

I guess that’s true. If you consider “what they could” to be join in one play until the first whistle. See my post at 9:39 last night, that’s what I was complaining about. Maybe about a minute later they did their “look in”.

  5. Scotty says:

Thanks guys for letting me know. I wish they would split these joined in progress games up a bit. Even having them start at 7 and 8 eastern would allow more of the game to be show.
