Where are the Wings-Ducks rating we were promised.
@Travis: From Sports Media Watch:
A “server issue” at Nielsen has caused three straight days of delayed television ratings, and “it will be at least until [Wednesday] before any new numbers are issued.” While overnight ratings for Saturday were eventually released, the overnights for Sunday and Monday as well as the weekly ratings will not be available until Wednesday “at the earliest.”
Also, this is what NBC told us: “Our friends at Nielsen said Wednesday.” We apologize for the inconvenience.
I read at Sports Media Watch that there was a glitch delaying the release of most ratings until Wednesday

Obviously, Steve was on top of it as usual
Benihana — “A spine-tingling rendition of the national anthem…”
We wouldn’t know, Joe… Versus didn’t show it to us……….. idiots……
Please show us the anthem in Game 4.
Did see the anthems on CBC, as usual, and they were indeed great.
Only problem is that the CBC station here, CBET isn’t in HD yet… but I’ll still very happily take that over Versus’s coverage.
CBC = lights out, crowd cheering, teams coming on the ice, national anthems.
VS/NBC = unending car commercials and car insurance commercials, start game action between the time the puck leaves the linesman’s hand and it hits the ice for the opening faceoff.
Its not in their interest to play up what’s going on in the arena. It would get them off their script to have to talk about anything else.
One of the MANY things that CBC does SO much better than almost everyone else is give you a feel for the atmosphere in the arena. It does make you feel you are there.
NBC and Versus obviously think we should trust Joe Benihaha’s word on this.
