The Sam Rosen-Jack Edwards Battle: What Happened and What We’ll Do About It

There are over 2,000 votes for the Sam Rosen-Jack Edwards battle in Puck the Media’s NHL Tournament of Announcers. Why? Because various websites (Sons of Sam Horn, HF) did some fancy technological whosits where they were able to vote 30-40 times consecutively. How do we feel about this? Well, we’re great with how many hits it gave us, but it made us ponder how to decide this battle.
Because both fanbases cheated, we’ve decided to simply eliminate both of them. We’re going to go with a Final Three, instead of a Final Four. What will happen is the following:
- The 3 “Clean” victors will have a three-way battle Tuesday night.
- The Top Two vote-getters move on to a Final on Wednesday night.
- Voting will be open for two days.
We’ll have all the details tomorrow night at 5:30 PM.

What, are you kidding me? After almost no votes in the previous heats, Rosen gets above 700 votes and he’s not disqualified? If anything, both he and Edwards should be DQ’d for fancy vote-getting.

Fancy technology whosy what it? All they did was clear their cookies and re-vote. Should the people be punished for spending their time voting? No, you should get better polls.

I have a bee in my bonnet about this egregious decision.
I love Brick’s comments….quite funny. However, as a Bruins fan, this is as embarrassing as Habs fans should feel with regard to the All-Star voting. Edwards is just tolerable…well, most of the time.
