If you wonder why NBC only uses “the same 6 or 7 teams”.. Just look at that chart.
They tried to promote the Western Conference teams on NBCSN this season. They had more WC vs. WC games than EC vs. EC games. They even added extra games near the end of the season, knowing that the ratings wouldn’t be great. But they did it anyway. Good for them. People can’t complain about it anymore..
