I think the guy who entered it the first time, who did nothing wrong to disqualify himself,should get the prize. He doesn’t get the prize because of what others did or didn’t do? no bait and switch. (PS It wasn’t me!)

I think the low response is because Bruins fans like me have already bought it! But here’s a fun story:
I was doing some research that required me to read about five months of 1971 newspapers on microfilm. Running it through the microfiche reader, there’s no way to zero in on what you want; you have to spin (slower or faster) through the whole thing. But my progress got a lot slower when I noticed that some nameless sub-sub-sub-editor was putting terrible puns (so bad they were good) into the box scores:
“Dry-den of Iniquity” when the Canadiens won after a goal was waved off
“Bruins Zing the Blues” when they beat St. Louis 6-1
“Braves Scalp Americans” and “UnAmerican Activity” (on the same day!) when the Boston Braves beat the Rochester Americans (AHL)
Presumably this guy’s son is now responsible for NHL.com pundays. Or perhaps the Royal Half blog.

When hockey comes back. You don’t like it, go read something else until the TV schedule in a couple of weeks.
Yeah, how dare somebody give away a DVD to a complete strange out of the kindness of their heart. It makes me want to throw up.
O/T – There was some talk that Pierre would still do World Juniors with Gord Miller on TSN, well turns out that is not the case. It will be Gord and Ray Ferraro doing the A games for TSN during the World Juniors.
