Dave Strader to Work NBC/VERSUS Full-Time?

As per Jim Gintonio of the Arizona Republic:
Dave Strader, the television play-by-play voice of the Coyotes, is expected to leave his position and accept a job with NBC/Versus, according to an NHL source.
The Coyotes have posted an ad on NHL.com to fill Strader’s position.
Strader joined the Coyotes for the 2007-08 season, moving over from the Florida Panthers, for whom he held a similar position for two years.
E-mails to both Mr. Strader and VERSUS by Puck the Media have not been responded to at this time.
One can only hope he’ll take over for Emrick as NBC’s #1 sometime soon. Doc’s voice is grating.
Never too soon to get out of Phoenix……Strader’s French probably isn’t very good so Quebec wouldn’t work for him.
Interesting by NBComcast to show off some talent in their new commitment to the NHL. Strades probably will call one of the weekly games taking on the big workload, and you never know if NBC will add a second weekly game (doubleheader or regional) with Strader. And somehow, it’s not surprising that this happened. Maybe re-team Dave Strader and Darren Pang will be back together some nights.
