Can you tell us the date/month of these nights? A lot easier to know what you’re talking about.
That was Thursday night when there was no NBA game on. Still lower rating is expected because it’s the two least appealing teams to US viewers.
A few more microscopic ratings like that and NBC might do away with the Pregame next season and just go back to incorporating it at the top of the telecast.
Just like I predicted 750k if this is a long series…..
Those kind of numbers for a pre-game show for hockey is probably on par with what HNIC does, especially during the regular season. They’ll do like 400,000 for Scoatiabank hockey tonight and then like 1.8 million for the game. So the game is almost 4-5 times the pregame viewership.
And there’s nothing really of interest in the pre-game. Maybe an interview with a GM or something. For the playoffs, the NHL should have games start at 7:15, 7:45 and 8:15 local. Get the pre-game in with the game. Hockey fans just want the game and the intermissions to analyze what is happening. Don’t need a 30 minute pre-game of nothing.
