NESN Hits Season-High For Lightning-Bruins

Thursday’s exciting 2-1 Bruins win against the Southeast Division leading Tampa Bay Lightning on NESN earned a 4.6 household rating in the Boston DMA according to Nielsen, which is NESN’s best Bruins game rating so far this season. NESN’s previous best this season was a 4.3 HH rating on February 9th when the Bruins beat the Montreal Canadiens 8-6.

The Bruins next two games are on NESN against Pittsburgh on Saturday at 7:00 PM and a rematch against top Northeast Division rival Montreal on Tuesday, March 8th at 7:30 PM. As always, NESN’s coverage starts 30 minutes before game time with W.B. Mason Bruins FaceOff LIVE hosted by Kathryn Tappen.

Lots of people saw this game as it was on the nhl network also

Off topic, but I see BIlly Jaffe is the host–not the analyst–alongside Craig Button for Friday night’s On the Fly. Any idea if this is a new experiment, or a late fill-in for someone else like Brian Duff?

I have to say, as usual, Jaffe is doing a very good job. Impressive for his first night in a different role.
