Devils Launch Creepy Social Media Hub

I don’t know about you guys, but something about this looks really strange and vague to me. Also, the Devils are among the teams that – to my knowledge – refuses to credential bloggers for games. Wouldn’t it be an easier way to connect your fans via social media by testing out letting a few bloggers have access to, at worst, the Devils home locker room and the press box at games? I don’t know what it is about this “Mission Control” that’s supposed to “track” what the fans are thinking, but it seems real odd to me.

I disagree. I think it’s great. I hope more teams get into this.

There are already a couple of big companies that have social media “mission controls”, such as Gatorade. Should be interesting to see what the Devils do with it, but I agree that a first step should probably be providing bloggers with credentials.

Wouldn`t you rather be a Devil`s Advocate rather than a Devil Army General.? I think it would sound better too…
