From The Province:
Ron MacLean helped save someone’s life today, helping pull a man out of the Delaware River on an off day in Philadelphia between Games 3 and 4 of the Stanley Cup final.
MacLean couldn’t be reached on his cell phone, but his wife, Cari, confirmed the report when reached at the couple’s home in Oakville, Ont.
“There was already a man in the water helping someone who’d try to take his life and I don’t know if Ron jumped in, too, but yes, he was part of a team of two who saved someone’s life,” Cari MacLean said.
“That’s how Ron spent the afternoon on his day off.”
