Philadelphia vs. Montreal, Game 4 (PHI Leads 2-1), 3:00 PM ET
National TV (US): NBC (HD)
Play by Play: Mike Emrick

Inside the Glass: Pierre McGuire
National TV (Canada): CBC (HD)
Play by Play: Bob Cole
Color: Gary Galley and Glenn Healy

In that intro, Emrick couldn’t say enough glowing things about hockey in Montreal. His words ring just a little hollow given that his network treats Canadian franchises (not to mention hockey traditions) as though they don’t exist.
Bob Cole is in good voice this afternoon!
P.S. Steve, looks like it wasn’t such a contrived controversy and foregone conclusion after all: http://thestar.blogs.com/thespin/2010/05/and-the-winner-is.html
Any word on contingency plans for the Stanley Cup Finals if the Conference Finals are done by Monday? They really wouldn’t wait two weeks to start the Stanley Cup Finals on June 5, would they?
Would the NHL, NBC and Versus possibly do something stupid?! Say it’s not possible!!!
There is a contingency plan. Haven’t gotten it yet.

Seem his Bettmanness had to get involved…
Look for the Finals to start Saturday if the Conf. Finals are over early.
