i hope that’s not a typo, but with tomorrow’s Team USA game on NBC, it probably won’t be finished by 5pm (games run between 2:15 and 2:30 usually), and I hope to god that they don’t cut away for local programming before the game is complete (postgame coverage somewhere would be nice too). sorry to the folks on the west coast feed.

As was said in an earlier thread, we will probably need the web feed on NBC for the first half hour of the Canada Germany game. And don’t count on there being play by play.

    • DyHrdMET says:

nope. tomorrow night, Curling tiebreakers are on MSNBC so hockey can start at 7pm with a pregame (or Team USA postgame) on CNBC. tonight’s Team Canada game will need a feed, but tomorrow’s won’t.

It’s REALLY problematic for west coast viewers who, in watching the tape delayed feed of the U.S. game, will have to choose between that and live action from the Canada-Russia game on cable. NBC…so incredibly moronic in some of these decisions.

You are of course assuming that Canada wins tonight so there will be a Canada Russia game on Wednesday…. I sure hope they do but Team Canada has yet to perform in a pressure game…
    :-(

NBC can’t win. When the games aren’t on NBC, people complain. When the games are on NBC, people complain. Until they end tape delaying, this is the norm!
