I think it is safe to say that we will have the same problem with the start of the Canadian game tonight that we did on Tuesday, because CNBC is showing Curling first. Here’s hoping that the curlers will “hurry hard” and get their game over fairly quickly so we don’t miss to much of the hockey game. The NBC Olympic website should have a feed of the Canadian game up 5 minutes or so after 7:30 eastern. Whether or not there is play-by-play remains to be seen…

This article looks at some of the complaints aimed at NBC. It’s well worth a read.

I also saw your post on the complaints picked up by Fang’s Bites in their daily Sports Media links.

I think Tonight will be a repeat of Tuesday night as far as what’s given to us as bonus coverage on MSNBC, approximate start time on CNBC, and what’s available online and from whom.

You guys are funny. You have no problem with the end of a hockey game being shown over the beginning of a curling match, but when it’s the other way around? “Who cares how curling (a sport that’s decided right at the end more than even basketball) ends, give us our hockey!”

NBC at least has the sense to stick through with everything until it finishes.
