Any word yet on if the NHL Network (US) plans on carrying Hockey Night in Canada this year (as it did last year)? Losing that would be terrible.

…suggests the NHL is thinking of NOT showing Hockey Night In Canada on the NHL Network every week…
I ask you, does it make ANY sense that the NHL would do this? Oh wait, this is the same league that is linked to Versus that can no longer be seen by millions of DirecTV viewers….
The NHL should have enough common sense to keep Hockey Night on the NHL Network US. Don Cherry is the best marketing the league can ask for. I need my Hockey Night.
>>”The NHL should have enough common sense….”
Yes they should, but will they? This is the same league that went to Versus who had many less viewers than ESPN and who now has even less viewers given the contract spat with DirecTV….
I had an email from the NHL telling me they were still “tinkering” with the NHL Network Schedule in the US and that HNIC may not be shown each week….
…It might not hurt for those of us who would like to see HNIC on the NHL Network US every week to email the league to tell them this.
