According to their website, VERSUS plans to go on the air at 9:00 PM ET tonight. They will show Calgary-Chicago Game 5 until 10:00 PM ET (Likely through to the end of the 1st Period). From thereon, they’ll do their regularly scheduled coverage of Ducks-Sharks Game 5, providing updates on Flames-Blackhawks throughout, no doubt.

I don’t know why they didn’t move the Chicago game to 7pm when the other series ended. I doubt TSN would have objected.
The other thing they could have and I think should have done is move the Calgary Chicago game to the NHL network…

While TSN’s eastern audience might not mind, fans in Calgary might object to having to watch the game at 5PM local time in Calgary.
5pm game, 7pm game, makes no difference to me if I’m wating my team. and fans don’t count when TV is involved.
VS should just switch to this game, it has more potential than SJ/Ana. Or better yet, move it to NHLN like someone else said.
