One Response to Canadian TV’s 10 Most-Watched Playoff Games (As of Yesterday)

Interesting to note that the second highest rating for a game featuring a non-Canadian team was the Sharks-Ducks, in a 10 or 10:30 ET time slot. Granted this was in Canada, where they appreciate good hockey, but I think this is further evidence to NBC and, to a lesser extent Versus, that it isn’t a ratings-killer to feature a good West Coast team. Remember, too, how the Sharks-Bruins game got one of the highest ratings in Versus’ history – and I’m guessing that wasn’t all B’s fans watching. Maybe American fans deserve a little more respect from the networks, too.
