The TV Ratings Cavalcade is a semi-regular feature that we hope to have appearing monthly here at Puck the Media.  It’s simply a compilation of local and national television ratings for the NHL’s 30 teams.  We’ll do our best to put these numbers in realistic terms for you, the reader.

Mostly positive news from the NHL’s 30 teams so far through the first month.  Read post-jump for some great articles from various news sources throughout the league.

Daryl Reaugh: Jack Edwards Call “Low Minor League” Level During Saturday’s Bruins-Stars Brawl (UPDATED with Poll)

We owe thanks to both Greg Wyshynski and Barry Horn (and Ken Fang) for linking to our post Monday about Jack Edwards’ call of the Bruins-Stars game on Saturday.  Both of them, coincidentally, described it as “WWE” style announcing.  Well, Mr. Horn spoke to Stars color analyst/Puck the Media favorite Daryl “Razor” Reaugh, and he had a different way of describing it. Tom Gulitti Needs to Emphasize Sarcasm (Updated)

Tom Gulitti, Devils beat writer for the Bergen Record, is one of my absolute favorite mainstream hockey bloggers.  He gives out the most information that someone covering the New Jersey Lamoriello’s that anyone possibly could.  However, his post today on Tampa Bay coach/ex-ESPN hairpiece Barry Melrose was a little offbeat for my reading tastes.
